It’s a very touristic place but it’s a nice island.

To get there with boat/ferry from Phuket or Krabi is very easy.
From/to Ao Nang 350bTHB, 2 hour trip approximately.

Places to stay
Hostel: Ibiza pool party, it’s cheap and the party is quite good. The pool is very nice with an infinite pool over looking the sea. If you stay in another place, pool party fee is 200THB



Places to eat/drink
There are all you can eat buffet breakfast for 199THB
Dow Restaurant was really good with big variety and good price.
October Resto was good and cheap
Efe Mediterranean Cuissine Restaurant was good but expensive 

Things to do
If you want to explore the island, most convenient way of moving around is by boat, although you can also walk.
Visit the view point 1 & 2, cost 30THB, easy to get there and busy place in the evening.
Visit view point 3, cost 20THB, it can take you 30 minutes to get up there and get busy for sunset as it is the best moment,
Koh Phi Phi Lee and Maya beach boat trip, half day cost 350THB approx and you will also stop at monkey beach.

Afternoon snorkeling, sunset and swimming with plankton, cost 300THB
Watch Mua Thai fight, you can get free drinks and a medal if you fight.
Go to Ibiza pool party.

North Laos

I took a whole package to cross the border from ChiangRai (Thailand) to Huay Xai (Laos), all transports included and the slow boat, it was a bit expensive but very easy and convenient for crossing the border. At the north from Huay Xai, I took the slow boat to Luang Prabang throught the Mekon river and stopped in Pak Beng. The experience was nice and the landscape,  it it was a bit long, 2 days on the boat, people spend most of their time reading. Tips: bring your own food/drinks and book your stay at Pak Beng when you arrive, it is much cheaper. At Pak Beng, the Indian Restaurants are very good. Other recommendations in the north: I have heard very good things about Gibbon experience and jungle trekking at Luang Namtha. Once in Luan Prabang, there are lots of hostels, you can use Booking.com Things to do Visit KuanSi waterfalls (better to go early in the morning) Walk to the top of the waterfall and if you continue walking few km you will find a very nice area to relax

Keeloma Boat expedition from El Nido to Coron - The Philippines

Something you have to do once in life...you probably end up repeating! Keeloma Boat expedition from El Nido to Coron. We met at El Nido v an terminal at 7am in the morning and drove to Sibaltan where we took the boat. Day 1 First stop was Magransing Island with a sand bar where you could walk on it although tide was a bit high, we also did snorkeling and saw lots of fishes! Perfect place for a drone!!! We were the only ones in that island! We had lunch on the boat over looking at the secluded Tackling island, our second stop. Then we swam and relax on this remote island. We continued with the boat towards our next stop, cliff jumping at Doble nueve. After that we went to the campsite based at Patoyo island, where we had dinner and drinks before going to bed.
