Hakone - Japan
Probably the best place to see Mount Fuji ( Fuji-San) but if the weather isn’t good, you probably won’t see it...
You can buy several days pass which will allow you to move around Hakone area, minimum 2 days pass and you can take train, bus, cable car and boat. Very well organized!
Spending 2 days in the area is more than enough unless you plan to do some hiking.
We spent most of the day from one transport to another to do a whole loop and back to our hotel.
I’d recommend you to stay in the mountains and not in Hakone village, so you don’t have to come back to the village and you can make the most of it.
Tips:
Check timetable to come back on time, transport close quite early!
