Keeloma Boat expedition from El Nido to Coron - The Philippines

Something you have to do once in life...you probably end up repeating! Keeloma Boat expedition from El Nido to Coron. We met at El Nido v an terminal at 7am in the morning and drove to Sibaltan where we took the boat. Day 1 First stop was Magransing Island with a sand bar where you could walk on it although tide was a bit high, we also did snorkeling and saw lots of fishes! Perfect place for a drone!!! We were the only ones in that island! We had lunch on the boat over looking at the secluded Tackling island, our second stop. Then we swam and relax on this remote island. We continued with the boat towards our next stop, cliff jumping at Doble nueve. After that we went to the campsite based at Patoyo island, where we had dinner and drinks before going to bed. Day 2 We woke up early to watch the beautiful sunrise and had an early breakfast before we got on the boat again at island time. It’s a very touristic place but it’s a nice island. To get there with boat/ferry from Phuket or Krabi is very easy. From/to Ao Nang 350bTHB, 2 hour trip approximately. Places to stay Hostel: Ibiza pool party, it’s cheap and the party is quite good. The pool is very nice with an infinite pool over looking the sea. If you stay in another place, pool party fee is 200THB Places to eat/drink There are all you can eat buffet breakfast for 199THB Dow Restaurant was really good with big variety and good price. October Resto was good and cheap Efe Mediterranean Cuissine Restaurant was good but expensive  Things to do If you want to explore the island, most convenient way of moving around is by boat, although you can also walk. Visit the view point 1 & 2, cost 30THB, easy to get there and busy place in the evening. Visit view point 3, cost 20THB, it can take you 30 minutes to get up there and get busy for sunset as it is the best moment, Koh Phi Phi

Best place to get your open water certificate or any other diving experience!!! there are almost 100 schools in the island! A great place if you want to relax, it’s small and quiet with backpacking vibe... There are lots of restaurants and it’s easy to walk around. How to get there, you can book from the hostel: From El Nido by van - 600 pesos From Puerto Princesa by van - 500 pesos, if you go to the bus station it will be cheaper. Where to stay Dragon House: cheap dorms next to the beach and restaurants, clean and you can use Moon resort, in fact Dragon house reception is in Moon resort. Russell Place: if you don’t want to be in a dorm, these little huts are cheap and great price, they are very small and not next to the beach, but great if you don’t want to share room. There is also kitchen and free water. CocoRico hostel is the party hostel in the area. What to do: chill and watch the sunset every evening! Koh Lanta - Thailand

To get there  From Krabi by van: 350THB from hostel to hostel by van (van on ferry, very convenient, 3h journey) Places to stay Lanta new beach bungalows, we stayed in a room and it looked quite new, big, clean, huge bed and with fridge. It has 2 big swimming pools and is just in front of the beach. There is a 7/11 at the corner. Things to do Rent a motorcycle and explore the island. Motorbike rent 150THB/day Gasoline 40THB/L Visit the National park, 200THB/person.  It is better to go with plenty of time, there are 2 view points, a nice beach to swim and a hiking trail. Watch out! There are monkeys! Kayaking in the mangrove. There are also caves, waterfalls, a town and also little islands to explore by boat. It’s a very touristic area with big resorts, souvenirs shops and families on holidays but it has lots of things to do, restaurants and places to go out. Things to do Island hoping: 4 Islands boat trip tour, very recommended as you can spend enough time in each island  I didn’t like my boat as we were too many people, I prefer smaller boats with 10 people  Half day tour - 400THB  tour + 400THB National park We managed to get better price in our hostel. There are several tours: 7 Islands: you don’t spend much time in each island  Hong Island: you spend all the time in the same island  James Bond island: it’s quite far, you travel by van to the pier. Railay beach by boat You can do climbing at the sea as well. Hiking to Khao Ngon Nak Very nice and small hike in the jungle with stunning views. 2h to go up - bring plenty of water and proper shoes for walking, no flip flops!!
