3 nights/ 4 days is enough to enjoy the city.

Places to stay
OSS backpackers hostel, it was ok, good location, clean and breakfast included.
If you can afford it, spend one night at Marina Bay Sands.

Things to do
Visit the Gardens by the Bay and watch the lights show.
Watch Spectra, the light and water show.
Walked around the boat Quay 
Visit the different districts: Kampong Glam, Chinatown and little India. It’s better to go at dinner time.
Visit Future World: Where arts meet science @ ArtScience museum 
Visit the conservatories @ Gardens by the Bay 

Places to eat
All districts have a big selection of restaurants and next to the train stations too.
Sahara, Persian and Mediterranean Cuisine @ Boat Quay Shake farm @ Chinatown, great for brunch 
Mexican @ Kampong Glam, foot at night with live music 
All with good vegetarian options, Burger King has veggie options too!

Transport 
You can get the tourist day pas for 10$ one day or 16$ 2 days. It’s convenient if you are going to take the train very often, but most of the attractions are walking distance.
Grab for taxi 
There are electric scooters to hire (you need internet connection all the time)

I took a whole package to cross the border from ChiangRai (Thailand) to Huay Xai (Laos), all transports included and the slow boat, it was a bit expensive but very easy and convenient for crossing the border. At the north from Huay Xai, I took the slow boat to Luang Prabang throught the Mekon river and stopped in Pak Beng. The experience was nice and the landscape,  it it was a bit long, 2 days on the boat, people spend most of their time reading. Tips: bring your own food/drinks and book your stay at Pak Beng when you arrive, it is much cheaper. At Pak Beng, the Indian Restaurants are very good. Keeloma Boat expedition from El Nido to Coron - The Philippines

Something you have to do once in life...you probably end up repeating! Keeloma Boat expedition from El Nido to Coron. We met at El Nido v an terminal at 7am in the morning and drove to Sibaltan where we took the boat. Day 1 First stop was Magransing Island with a sand bar where you could walk on it although tide was a bit high, we also did snorkeling and saw lots of fishes! Perfect place for a drone!!! We were the only ones in that island! We had lunch on the boat over looking at the secluded Tackling island, our second stop. Then we swam and relax on this remote island. We continued with the boat towards our next stop, cliff jumping at Doble nueve. After that we went to the campsite based at Patoyo island, where we had dinner and drinks before going to bed. Indonesia, a life-changing experience!

Indonesia is special to me... After traveling several months, I can say it is my favorite country in SE Asia. Why? Because it has many good things, the first and best, the people in Bali, the kindest people I ever met, probably due to their culture/religion. I think karma is a good thing if it’s used properly. The landscapes are amazing... the wild cliffs with the the brave sea...it’s unbelievable! And my favorite view point of the whole trip is in Padar Island in Komodo National park, with magic SUNRISES!! The sea life is blowing minding...turtles, mantas, sharks, all sort of fishes... If you like hiking, there are plenty of volcanos with unforgettable sunrises & sunsets. Exquisite food! Something I love when traveling, taste different flavors!!
