Pai, the place I delayed my departure bus twice...Thailand

Visit Pai
Key things:
Rent a scooter to explore Pai
Eat in the street market
Listen to live music
Go to at least one hot spring
See the sunset

Visit 1 - North west
1 - Sai ngam hot springs
Cost 200b National park + 20b by bike + 20b hot spring entrance
If you go early in the morning is quite quiet
2 - Mor Paeng waterfall, stop in the strawberry farm on the way/way back, smoothies are yummy!!!
3 - Chinese Village, you can get good food there.
4 - Chinese view point, nice view and nice sunset place but I highly recommend this place for sunrise and then go to the hot spring early in the morning!!

Visit 2 - South
Meeting point at coffee in love, nice view.
1 - Start in bamboo bridge ( if it is dry season and no water no rice, it doesn’t worth...)
2 - Pam Bock waterfall
3 - Land split, great place! And try the snacks! They are so yummy!
4 - White buda, that place can be nice for sunset too.
5 - Drive to Pai Canyon enjoying the views of the tree tunnel, tree house and memorial bridge.

Visit 3 - Mae Yen Waterfall
If you like walking in a dense jungle and find weird trees you ve never seen before, that’s your walk!
You don’t have to make it to the end as the waterfall is not great, the walk is the best part!!
2,5h to the waterfall and 2 h to come back approx
Tip: the walk is very easy but you have to cross the river 20 times or so, I recommend you to bring hiking sandals like teva or waterproof shoes.

Visit 4 - Lod Cave
I recomend you to take a tour as is a long drive.
Go in the afternoon so you will see the birds flying!

Visit 5 - Conserve Natural Forest
An amazing place that their main task is forest restoration.
They also have Kamee, a pregnant elephant, if you want to learn about nature and elephants, go there!!!
They also have good food and drinks, great way to spend the afternoon!
1000bats donation

I loved Pai and stay more days just chilling, went to the swimming pool, relax in a hammock, get a massage, go out and listen to music.

Love Pai
Diana
